British low-fare airline easyJet enjoyed a bumper Christmas by carrying nearly 40% more passengers last month than in December 2001, it was announced today.
Including people travelling on its acquired no-frills carrier Go, easyJet carried 1,433,400 passengers in December 2002 compared with 1,034,100 in December 2001.
