EC poll shows Ireland is the most euro-friendly in Europe

Results from a European Commission survey have shown that Ireland has registered the highest satisfaction rating with the euro currency.

Approaching the first anniversary of the introduction of the currency, the figures show that of the 12 eurozone states, Ireland is the most likely to "think in euros" when making purchases at home or abroad.
