European Commission launch Ryanair probe

The European Commission is launching a formal probe into Ryanair.

The low-cost carrier is being investigated over suspicions it receives illegal state subsidies from Belgium.

Officials believe one of the country's airports could be giving the firm as much as 50% discount on handling fees.
