BA could quit Heathrow, claims report

Reports today claimed British Airways could quit Heathrow if the British government concentrate plans for new runways on Stansted, it was reported today.

A Sunday Times report said BA chief executive Ron Eddington will tell ministers neglecting Heathrow would make it uncompetitive and BA would not remain at the airport if Stansted was developed to the extent suggested by the government.
