The UK government is considering delaying a referendum on euro entry until after the 2005 election, according to reports today.

The UK government is considering delaying a referendum on euro entry until after the 2005 election, according to reports today.

"A report suggested the idea of putting the projection back until a few months after a summer 2005 election was gaining ground among senior pro-Europeans close to Tony Blair," the Daily Express said.
