The unavailability of affordable broadband facilities in the country has been cited as having the potential to stagnate the digital media sector, according to delegates from various companies meeting at a recent conference held by O2 in Dublin.

According to delegates at the conference, which was attended by 270 delegates from a wide range of sectors across the technology sector, digital production spans almost every information and entertainment service, including music, television, film and interactive entertainment.
