Prodi says no time to be lost in preparing for enlargement

European Commission president Romano Prodi said no time should be lost in the countdown to the addition of up to 10 countries to the EU by the end of 2004.

Speaking at the end of the summit here, Prodi said moves to reform the EU decision-making process ahead of enlargement are running according to plan.
