Trinity Biotech receives FDA clearance for Hemostatis Test

Trinity Biotech [Nasdaq:TRIB] has received FDA clearance so that it can go ahead with offering three FDA cleared tests to confirm the presence of blood clots.

AutoDimer together with the previously FDA cleared Miniquant and Minutex will offer a choice of tests for distribution to laboratories and hospitals. It should strengthen the company's position in the D-dimer test market which is currently valued at US $50m (€81m) world-wide and growing at a rate of over 10% per annum.
