Details of TSB-Irish Permanent merger unveiled

The details of the merger between TSB and Irish Permanent have been unveiled.

The new financial institution will have 1.2 million customers and the roll out of Permanent TSB will begin next Monday.

The ban said it will be a major player in the market place.

The merger follows 14 months of intensive work and is expected to be completed by June.
