SmartForce launches credentialing module

SmartForce has announced the availability of a credentialing module to track the granting of industry-recognised continuing education credits for completion of approved SmartForce e-learning.

Capella University, an institution of higher education accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Universities, has authorised SmartForce to grant Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Likewise, the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) has authorized SmartForce to grant Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for accounting, tax and finance professionals, which can be used to meet state boards' continuing education requirements.

The credentialing module is fully integrated with SmartForce's learning management suite within the MySmartForce platform.

It allows students to track their progress toward meeting educational requirements for credit, generate certificates of completion, preview credit requirements in order to plan learning paths, and access regulatory agency contact information.
