Chelsea post financial loss

Chelsea Village has posted a full-year loss of £6.8m and revealed it cost nearly £2m to oust coach Gianluca Vialli and his staff at the start of last season.

The company behind Premiership club Chelsea, which is now £66.8m in debt, says turnover fell by more than 10% in the 12 months ending June.
