The British economy grew by an above-expected 0.4% in the last quarter, officials figures showed today.

The British economy grew by an above-expected 0.4% in the last quarter, officials figures showed today.

Data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed GDP in the second quarter of 2001 (April to June) grew by 0.4% - revised up from the 0.3% previously estimated.
