Irish Permanent has announced a cut of a quarter of one per cent in its variable mortgage rate.

Irish Permanent has announced a cut of a quarter of one per cent in its variable mortgage rate.

It follows today's announcement by the European Central Bank that it is cutting its rate by the same amount.
