Easyjet sees earnings rise 43%

Increasing passenger numbers and revenues have helped Easyjet beat City forecasts as its pre-tax losses rose to £10m its first-half.

The budget airline revenues rise 43% to £142.8m and passenger numbers surged 31% to 3.2 million.
