Debenhams set for major expansion

Ambitious expansion plans by Debenhams could see it opening stores in dozens of British and Irish towns and cities over the next few years.

The department store group, which currently has 96 outlets in the UK and Ireland, is celebrating a leap in profits after consolidating its strong position among shoppers.
