OPEC may cut oil production

Oil exporting countries would make another cut in production if prices continue to fall, Kuwait’s oil minister said today.

‘‘A reduction is expected if prices continue to fall,’’ Adel al-Subeih told a Kuwait’s newspaper. He did not elaborate on the size of the cut or say if it would be triggered by Opec’s price band mechanism.
