Sony's silence after Playstation 2 deadline passes

Sony has yet to announce whether it still intends bring a lawsuit against two Norwegian owners of Playstation 2 domain names.

The row concerns the domains ps2.no and playstation2.no.

Morten Bruun, who holds ps2.no, was initially given a February 10 deadline to hand over the name to Sony.

Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten says the 25-year-old contacted Sony's solicitors and is still waiting for a reaction.

Bruun has declined to comment on the content of the letter he faxed to two days before the deadline expired.

Norwegian Stefan Hilt holds the domain name playstation2.no and has refused to transfer it to Sony.
