A French artist has penned a moving tribute to the Irish fans offering us solidarity in our defeat.

Laure Rollier from the South of France sent in a picture of a French and Irish person drinking together in a bar.

In the picture, the French person says "We will truly miss you" and the Irish person responds, ’Don’t be sad my friend, I’ll be back."
