How do I use Instagram to drive traffic to my web shop?

Businesses need to humanise their brand: Show behind the scenes, celebrate employees, let their personalities come through, give a sneak peak of whats going on and whats coming down the line. Posts need to be more engaging than self serving.

Product demonstrations and analysis tend to be more effective and engaging than a blunt sales pitch.

If someone wants to buy a product, its rare that they can’t find it - its helping convert them to a customer is the challenge, and one that has to be tackled in a round about, subtle way - which Instagram is perfect for.

A strong hashtag strategy and aligning yourself with a brand with similar core values are two good starting points.
