‘Frozen’ frenzy fails to stem losses at Disney store

The frenzy over Elsa dolls from the movie blockbuster Frozen was not enough to prevent further losses at the Disney store on Dublin’s Grafton St last year.

New accounts filed by TDS Disney Ireland Ltd show the firm’s pre-tax losses last year totalled €249,000.

This followed pre-tax losses of €277,000, or more than €5,000 per week, in the 12 months to the end of September 2013.
