None of the Irish people identified as the owners of alleged tax dodging accounts at the Swiss branch of HSBC availed of two separate Government tax amnesties which gave them a chance to come clean over the practices.

The situation will be detailed in a 16-page Revenue Commissioners report at the Dáil public accounts committee this morning.

The file was called for by the cross-party group earlier this month after revelations that hundreds of individuals and companies based in Ireland had hidden billions of euro from tax collectors in Swiss banks.
