Shareholders approve Ryanair’s bumper Boeing deal
Shareholders approved the deal by an overwhelming majority at its EGM in Dublin yesterday — with some 99.93% voting in favour of the “game-changing” order.
In September, the carrier announced it had made a commitment to purchase 100 Boeing 737 MAX 200 aircraft with the option to take a further 100, which Ryanair chief executive, Michael O’Leary, said he was confident the company would take up.
