Time to pull the plug on Irish Water?

Granted, the vast bulk of us are annoyed at having to pay for water as we feel we already pay for it through our taxes, but to add insult to injury by putting a senior management team in place which appears not to be up to the job is nothing short of pure unadulterated arrogance.

Time to pull the plug on Irish Water?

Indeed as each day goes by, it is becoming ever clearer that this top management team might be better off looking for another line of work.

Should we be surprised? Probably not, as many of the most senior people came from within the public sector where they had been operating systems decades old, if not hundreds of years old, coupled with a total lack of accountability, and we already know how dysfunctional that system is. These folk then team up with consultants who, by their nature, charge by the minute, and you have a recipe for a seriously expensive disaster.
