We’re on track to achieve 2% growth next year

The National Household Survey for the third quarter of 2013, published by the CSO last week, points to a strong recovery in the Irish labour market. Employment rose for the fifth consecutive quarter.

We’re on track to achieve 2% growth next year

There was a rise of 58,000 in employment, or 3.2%, compared to the corresponding period of 2012.

Furthermore, well over 90% of this rise was in full-time employment, which increased by 3.8% on an annual basis.
