Dissatisfaction grows among SME sector

The twin bugbears of high business costs and poor credit availability have accentuated the dissatisfaction felt amongst business owners towards the Government in recent months.

Dissatisfaction grows among SME sector

The latest quarterly index, from small firms lobby group Isme, shows a combined satisfaction rating of -42 for the third quarter of the year; down from a -38 rating previously.

Out of all the categories measured — overall, business costs, the troika, jobs and banking — only one, jobs, showed any improvement in terms of satisfaction; and at that only a marginal one with the rating going from -44 to -43.
