US firm creates 30 jobs with expansion

The New York-headquartered firm — which electronically trades in equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities — has consolidated all of its European business into its Dublin office and is looking for highly qualified talent in mathematics and computer science.
“We selected Dublin as our European headquarters because of the available talent pool of well-qualified and highly-educated people. We have further expanded our business in Ireland, because of the success we have had doing business in Ireland,” said Virtu’s founder and chairman, Vincent Viola.
