Markets on both sides of the Atlantic improved yesterday.

World markets stage recovery

US stocks advanced as companies such as Pfizer reported earnings which surpassed estimates. Investors in Europe and US are now looking toward the Federal Reserve’s two-day policy meeting later this week for signals on stimulus and economic conditions.

The Iseq index gained 6.46 points to finish the session at 4,079.31.
