Despite the hype surrounding patent cliff and the impending doom of the Irish pharmaceutical sector, the Irish Exporters Association remains optimistic about the sector’s growth prospects.

As the drugs that drove the Irish phrama boom, Lipitor and Viagra, get swamped by generic versions, they can no longer be relied on to drive the Irish drug boom.
