Signs of a modest recovery emerge on horizon

As we pass the halfway mark of 2013, the eurozone economy continues to struggle.

Indeed, the current description of the economic backdrop for the region is one of a ‘double dip’ recession.

The economy faltered badly over the course of 2011, falling back into recession in the final quarter of that year and remaining in recessionary mode in the first quarter of this year.
