Domino’s Pizza enjoys 5.1% sales rise

The Irish arm of Domino’s Pizza has reported a 5.1% year-on-year increase in total second-quarter sales, to €12.1m — with like-for-like sales for the period up by just under 5%.

June was the sixth consecutive month that Domino’s saw like-for-like sales growth in its Irish operations.

Despite the tough retail environment and low consumer confidence here in recent times, Domino’s management has maintained its positive outlook regarding Ireland, suggesting the company is here for the long haul.
