Scheme gives SMEs better access to credit

AIB is launching a loan application process to help boost access to credit for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

The majority of loan applications to AIB from SMEs are for €25,000 or less.

Chief executive David Duffy said AIB staff at bank branch level will begin processing business credit applications under the new system from tomorrow.
