Let’s not waste time on meaningless reports

Is there any real value to an annual C&AG report?

It’s been said, as much in jest as in anything else that getting married for the second or third time is the triumph of hope over experience.

I wonder should we be saying the same thing about the comptroller and auditor general’s annual report. Every year the report seems to be worse than the previous year. Lessons are never learned and reform seems to be as far away as ever.
