Completing surveys for the CSO costs businesses €10m

Irish businesses were hit with an added €10.1m burden due to the cost of filling out forms for the CSO last year.

The calculation is based on the response burden barometer, a measure of the total administrative burden placed on Irish businesses by CSO surveys.

If all of the businesses had followed the CSO’s requests to fill in documentation, the cost to Irish companies would have been as high as €13.1m.
