Market slips along with peers

The ISEQ index tracked other European markets lower yesterday, to close down 29.32 points at 3,306.18.

In Britain, the headline inflation rate dropped to 3.4% from 3.6% in January, sparking hopes of economic recovery.

In the financial sector, Bank of Ireland slipped 0.1c to 13.7c. AIB dropped 0.2c to 10.9c. Irish Life & Permanent gained 0.2c to 4.7c, while insurance group FBD advanced 9.8c to €9.10.
