Market falls amid recession fears

The Iseq index fell 39.57 points yesterday to close at 3,226.24.

Markets fell after data showed that the eurozone is likely to slide back into recession, and the Chinese revised downwards their growth target from 8% to 7.5%.

Nervousness over the Greek bond swap deadline on Thursday also caused some turbulence.
