Market maintains its upward drive

The ISEQ maintained its steady momentum yesterday with a gain of 31.40 points to 3,207.26.

The market peaked at midday before losing some gains by the close of trade.

Financials had a mixed day with AIB gaining 0.02 to 14c. Bank of Ireland shares rose 1c to 15 cent on the back of some positive news in its annual results. The group posted a profit of €40m for the year. Irish Life and Permanent was static at 0.05c.
