Market falls on Greek concerns
Markets are still concerned about the Greek situation with a deal on reducing the country’s private sector debt imminent. The US economy grew at its fastest pace in a year-and-a-half in the fourth quarter. US GDP expanded at a 2.8% annual rate, slightly below economists’ expectations for a 3% rate.
In the financial sector, Bank of Ireland slipped 0.1c to 11.5c. AIB was unchanged at 7.5c. Irish Life & Permanent gained 0.3c to 3.3c, while insurance group FBD Holdings held at €7.05.
