New political masters, but same old policies

THIS was a year many of us will be glad to see the back of.

It was a year when the Irish people voted for much promised change in the general election, but ended up with new faces doing the same old things.

Unfortunately, they have scrupulously avoided making any of the promised decisions that would introduce the necessary changes our economy needs.
