ISEQ index falls with world markets

THE ISEQ index closed down 25.71 points at 2,661.55, in line with European and world markets.

In finance, Bank of Ireland remained at 9c. AIB dropped 0.7c to 7.9c. Irish Life & Permanent dipped 0.4c to 3.2c, while insurance group FBD Holdings slipped 1c to 6.30.

In construction, Grafton noted full year group profit of €52-55 million. Their shares lost 14.5c to 2.60. CRH fell 31.5c to 12.70, while Kingspan shed 26c to 6.02.
