IN this valley of tears we inhabit, it is more than very hard to be positive. There is so much around us that is wrong and that is negative.

Government’s apparent only response to our financial crisis is to hammer those who benefited least from the Celtic Tiger, while at the same time, pandering to those who caused or had hand, act and part in the creation of the crisis and its mismanagement.

However, we do have an option. We can give out and moan, but if we are not willing to do anything about it, it is just a waste of time and breath. But we can also be positive and see that things are not quite as bad as they could be.
