Aer Lingus to lease four extra aircraft
In May and June RBS Aviation Capital delivered four aircraft through sale and leaseback transactions. Three B737-800s — the second, third and fourth of a four-aircraft deal — were delivered on lease to TUI Travel airlines and one B737-800 was delivered on lease to Virgin Australia — the first of a three-aircraft transaction.
In addition, the company recently completed several other deliveries from its existing fleet, including two B737-800s to Nordstar Airlines, three B737-800s to Sun Express and the second of two CRJ200s to AK Bars on finance lease.
The company made these announcements in an update on its recent operational activity, including deliveries, lease agreements, lease extensions and sales.
In April and June it completed the sale of one A320-200 and two B737-800s.
