Market starts week with a gain
European shares edged up after falling for eight straight weeks, with the many of the main bank stocks improving. Numerous strategists are of the opinion that the worst-case scenario for heavily-indebted Greece is already priced in.
In the financial sector, Bank of Ireland added 0.1c to 11.7c. AIB shed 0.4c to 15.1c, while Irish Life & Permanent fell 0.5c to 6c.
