Factory gate prices higher than 2010

Dublin: Monthly factory gate prices increased by 1.3% in May 2011, slightly higher than the 1.1% hike that occurred in May 2010.

As a result the annual percentage change in the country’s wholesale price index showed a decrease of 0.6% in May 2011, compared to a decline of 0.8% in April 2011.

The price index for export sales increased by 1.4%, while the index for home sales increased 1.2%.
