Bord Gáis chief to take over Cork Chamber presidency

CORK will have a new ambassador tonight and, if his plans are anything to go by, Ireland’s second city is set for some major changes.

The new president of the Cork Chamber wants an IFSC-type development, a permanent convention centre and a Corkmans’ dinner in Dublin.

He said he will fight against tolls on the Jack Lynch tunnel and wants to organise a small business conference in Cork later this year.
