French rugby supporters gave boost to city hotels

According to benchmarking firm, CityOccupancy, hotels filling over the weekend of the recent rugby international between France and Ireland show that 10 of their participating Dublin hotels were full for either one or two nights over the weekend, with occupancy peaking at 91% across the city on the Saturday before the match.

The figures show that many hotels in Dublin 2, which is the city centre area, managed 100% occupancy for as many as four nights last month.
