An Post facing stiff competition
Dissatisfaction with the cost, speed of delivery, and reliability, were the main reasons cited for using alternative mail service providers, while one in four (26%) used only An Post, and 2% exclusively used providers other than An Post.
The findings, based on interviews conducted with 1,002 businesses, also found one in two (48%) experienced an issue with An Post’s service, while one in three (31%) of other postal service provider users had a service issue in the past 12 months.
