Vying for Euro 2016 business

Limerick: Enterprise Ireland has launched a campaign to position Irish companies to win business associated with the construction of French stadiums in the lead up to Euro 2016 and with renovation of French rugby stadiums.

Vying for Euro 2016 business

French soccer and rugby organisations have indicated that they will be building a minimum of four new stadiums and renovating a minimum of 10 over the next five years. The French spend for Euro 2016 is estimated to be approximately €1.7bn. The campaign is similar to Enterprise Ireland’s 2012 Olympics Construction Campaign, which saw Irish companies securing €200m in Olympics-related contracts in Britain.
