BEEF EXPO, a major International Show of all pedigree beef cattle breeds in Ireland will be held on October 10, at Cillin Hill Mart, Kilkenny.

Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Minister Brendan Smith, who will officially open the event, said it will be an unique opportunity for all beef pedigree cattle breeders to show the quality and standard of their beef livestock in Ireland to an audience of key international visitors.

He said Beef Expo 2010 will build on the foundations of the very successful inaugural Beef Expo 2008 which his department also supported.
