Ryanair reports increase in flyers

RYANAIR said the number of passengers it carried in July increased to 7.61 million from 6.73m in the same month a year earlier.

The company’s load factor, which is a measurement of seats filled for July fell to 88% from 89% a year earlier.

British Airways carried 2.6% fewer passengers in July compared with the year before and said it expected summer traffic volumes to be lower than last year.
