Shares down 4% after dismal week

IRISH shares ended a dismal week closing down almost 4% yesterday with most stocks plunging into negative territory.

As fears heightened about Greece’s future, European bank shares were worst hit.

The FTSE closed down 2.6%, while Frankfurt fell more than 3% and Paris plunged 4.6%.
